Want your tuition reduced and help Kuemper Catholic Schools?
Scrip is the answer!!!
What Is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means "substitute money:. When you purchase
scrip from KCSS, you're purchasing gift certificates that are used just like
cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing,
and other essentials. With every purchase, you earn revenue for KCSS and
get a deduction off your tuition.
How Does It Benefit You?
Each participating business will donate back to KCSS a certain
percentage of the scrip monies bought from their location. KCSS has
approved that half of the money donated will go into a tuition reimbursement
account for your child, and the other half will be used for school needs.
The reason for the effectiveness of scrip is simple: families produce
revenue by making purchases they would make anyway.
Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, etc. can be purchased with scrip. One
hundred-fifty families easily spend between one and two million dollars per year
on food, clothing and other essentials. If these families use scrip for
these purchases, they can raise as much as $40,000 to $80,000 per year for KCSS
- without spending an additional penny. With tuition going up this is a
great way for you to get reimbursements on your account and support Kuemper
Catholic School System!
